FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What would surprise people about your path to financial planning?
After double majoring in business and communications in college I took a job selling cars for mercedes benz, and it wasn’t until I had a horrible boss that lead me to want to run my own company, and one thing or another led me to financial planning. What is even more surprising is the number of highly-net-worth clients I work with now, that I originally met from selling a car.
What do you believe about money that most people don’t?
I believe the money and investments are only the means to do the things we love most with the people we love most. And that most people don’t care much for the actual act of investing.
What’s a common misconception people have about working with a financial planner?
That a financial planner is always trying to sell you something. If you find a good one, mostly they want to give you the advice you need to make better decisions.
